DIY Aroma Stones

Ingredients:
- 2 cups baking soda
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 1 1/4 cups water
- Food coloring
- Essential oils of your choice
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of baking soda and 1 cup of cornstarch. Whisk the dry ingredients together until they are fully integrated.
2. Gradually add 1 1/4 cups of water to the dry mixture while stirring continuously. Continue stirring until the mixture forms a thick paste with a consistency similar to wet sand.
3. If you wish to create multiple colors, divide the mixture into several portions. Add drops of food coloring to each portion and stir until the color is evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
4. Next, add 10 to 15 drops of your chosen essential oils to each colored portion. Stir thoroughly to ensure that the scent is well incorporated into the mixture.
5. Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into stones by hand. Alternatively, for more defined shapes, you can press the mixture into silicone molds.
6. Place the formed stones on a sheet of wax paper or a drying rack to prevent them from sticking to surfaces.
7. Allow the stones to dry completely for 24 to 48 hours. The drying time may vary depending on the size of the stones and the humidity in your environment.
8. Once the stones are fully hardened, you can place them around your home to enjoy their aromatherapy benefits.
Tips & Variations:
– Consider experimenting with different essential oil combinations to create unique scents that suit your mood or environment.
– To enhance the colors of your aroma stones, you can mix different food colorings together for a marbled effect.
