Ingredients:
- 1 clear plastic bottle
- Clear hand soap
- Clear dish soap
- 1 handful of small plastic beads
- Chunky glitter (optional)
- Hot glue or super glue (optional)
Directions:
1. Start by selecting a clear plastic bottle that you would like to use for your sensory bottle.
2. Pour clear hand soap into the bottle until it is about two-thirds full. This will create the base for your calming sensory experience.
3. Add a handful of small plastic beads into the bottle. These beads will float and move around as you tilt the bottle.
4. If you want to add a sparkling effect, sprinkle in a pinch of chunky glitter for extra visual appeal.
5. Next, fill the rest of the bottle with clear dish soap. This will help to slow down the movement of the beads and create a soothing effect.
6. Once filled, securely seal the bottle with its lid.
7. To ensure the bottle doesn’t accidentally open, you can apply hot glue or super glue around the edges of the lid to secure it in place.
8. Turn the bottle upside down to test the flow of the beads. If they fall too quickly, remove some of the contents and add more hand soap. If they move too slowly, add a little more dish soap.
9. Once you’re satisfied with the flow, give the bottle a final shake and enjoy your calming sensory experience!
Tips & Variations:
– Consider using different colors of beads and glitter to create a themed sensory bottle, such as ocean or galaxy-inspired designs.
– To make it even more interactive, use scented hand soap to add a calming fragrance to your sensory bottle.
